Return & Refund Policy
All coffee sold by Custom Joe Roasting is roasted to order. Because roasted coffee is a perishable, consumable product made specifically for each order, all coffee sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on coffee once it has been roasted or shipped. This includes dissatisfaction due to taste preference, roast level, grind, strength, or brewing method.
Non-consumable items, such as accessories, may be returned within 7 days of delivery only if they are unused, unopened, and in their original packaging. Proof of purchase is required, and all returns must be approved in advance. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
If an order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, the customer must contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Requests must include the order number and clear photos of the product and packaging. Approved claims will receive a replacement or store credit at our discretion. Refunds are not guaranteed.
Once an order has shipped, Custom Joe Roasting is not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages, or theft after delivery. Packages marked as “Delivered” by the carrier are not eligible for refunds or replacements. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Orders cannot be canceled once roasting has begun. Cancellation requests must be submitted immediately after placing an order and are not guaranteed.
Sale items, discounted products, promotional offers, and gift cards are final sale and not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
Re-Roast Guarantee (Replacement Only)
Custom Joe Roasting offers a one-time re-roast replacement if we determine that a coffee was roasted incorrectly due to a roast defect or roasting error. This guarantee applies only to roasting defects and does not cover personal taste preferences, roast or grind selection, or brewing results.
The re-roast guarantee does not include refunds or returns. Approved claims will receive one replacement bag of the same coffee at no charge. Requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery and may require order details, photos, or additional information. Custom Joe Roasting reserves the right to approve or deny all re-roast requests at its sole discretion.
